Notification: SBI Clerk Vacancy

SBI has invited applications from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment in State Bank of India. To apply for the post read below for details selection process and eligibility criteria.

(i) Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) 

(ii) Junior Agricultural Associates in clerical cadre 

Candidates can apply for vacancies in one State and for one post only. 

Candidates can appear for the test only once under this recruitment project. There are other Bank jobs notified too and SBI will fill these vacancy soon.

Eligibility Conditions for SBI Clerk:

The candidates applying for Vacancy in State Bank of India under special Recruitment drive for Tura (Meghalaya), Kashmir Valley & Ladhak should be proficient in official language of the State and local language of the concerned District (mentioned in the vacancy table against each District). They should have knowledge of reading writing and speaking of that language.

Test of knowledge of official and/or local language will be conducted as a part of the selection process against Vacancy of State Bank of India.

1. Educational Qualifications for SBI Clerk:

For Junior Associates: You must have a Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.

For Junior Agricultural Associates : Graduation in Agriculture or Agriculture allied activities from a Government recognised university/Institute is necessary. 

Those who are in the final Semester/ year of Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview/joining, they will have to produce proof of having passed the Graduation Examination.

The date of passing eligibility examination will be the date appearing on the mark sheet or provisional certificate issued by the University / Institute. 

In case the result of a particular examination is posted on the website of the University / Institute, a certificate issued by the appropriate authority of the University / Institute indicating the date on which the result was posted on the website will be taken as the date of passing.

 Candidates should be able to write and speak English.

2. Age Limit for SBI Clerk:

Your age should not below 20 years and not above 28 years as on 01.04.2016 i.e candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1988 and not later than 01.04.1996 (both days inclusive)
